The Active8me program is a total, integrated fitness and health solution across exercise, nutrition, mindset and holistic health. It is available on your mobile devices and is curated by a team of experts. The programs work in weekly cycles and consist of a variety of elements (exercise, nutrition, mindset) that work together to ensure you see transformation.
Actie8me Core Program
Starting with an initial 12 week Transformation program, these core programs are designed to continue on so you can build upon the great habits you have started and sustain the changes you have already seen in your initial 12 week Transformation program. The 12 week program is just the beginning. Our programs continue well beyond this point and we hope you will continue your fitness, health and wellness journey with Active8me to achieve healthy, active living for the rest of your life!
Special One-off Programs
These special one-off shorter programs will help get you started or help you achieve a specific goal. You get the full access of Pro for the period of the program you have purchased. At the conclusion of the short program, if you wish, you can then choose another Active8me program to continue with.
All the programs work in weekly cycles. You can see your workouts, meals and mindset lesson for the current week and next week. (Next week’s workouts, meals and mindset lesson are locked o the focus is on the current week. These are unlocked on the Saturday immediately prior to that week). 
Here are a few of the things you can look out for in the app:
  • Daily workouts (depending on your program) which include workout videos and step-by-step workout plans
  • Healthy, nutritious meal plans with complete recipes for your breakfast, lunch, snack and dinner every day
  • Interactive healthy eating out plate and geo-located map of healthy food places nearby
  • Weekly Mindset lessons designed to challenge and shift your thinking so you can break old habits, make empowered decisions and turn your good intentions into true changed behaviour
  • A comprehensive exercise index to guide you step-by-step how to perform each exercise correctly and safely
  • ‘My Progress & Tools’ where you can track your progress
  • In-app chat where you have the opportunity for unlimited chat with a coach
You will be earning points for completion of your daily tasks – plus bonus points when you reach certain milestones. These points may be used to redeem offers/prizes in the future – we’re still in the process of getting it done but once it’s launched you’ll be able to turn your healthy actions into real rewards! 
It all depends on you! The program you choose and the experience level you choose during the registration process will ultimately determine the number and intensity of workout you have to do. Having said this, don’t worry, we don’t kill you. The types of workouts vary, with some days being easier than others. Our programs have been expertly crafted to mix both high intensity workouts, low intensity workouts and recovery. 
We do wish to remind you that results take time. Again, we highly recommend following the programs if you want to see results. Our aim is to see you transform and make lasting change. The goal is to have healthy, active living become part of your everyday lifestyle.

No! You don’t require a gym membership or access to a gym to do Active8me’s programs.  

 We have specifically designed our programs and training options to suit your particular preferences, situation and lifestyle. Most workout plans have four different training options to choose from – Outdoors, At Home, Gym Classes or Gym Machines.

 This gives you the flexibility to choose the workout location that best suits you. Plus, you can change your workout location preference every workout if you like and Active8me will adjust the program. Workout at home one day, outdoors the next – it’s your choice.

Active8me is not just a standalone 12 week transformation program. Active8me is about embracing active and healthy living – for your entire life. It encompasses exercising; nourishing your body with healthy food; thinking well; gaining fitness; looking better; feeling beautiful, confident and empowered; transforming your body and your life as whole. 

 With that in mind, we DEFINITELY want you to advance beyond your initial program. That’s the point! We have specifically designed ongoing programs to be fresh, new and varied. There will be new workouts, new challenges, new recipes and new members who extend the energy and vibe.  

Please note that many of the core mindset lessons get repeated, but this is by design. These foundational lessons and challenges can never be taken for granted. Not only do we often forget them, but we often learn something new every time. 

No, this is a 100% online program where you will be provided with workouts you can do at home, outdoors or at your gym. That said, we do encourage you to find training buddies/partners. Not only will they help you stick to goals, but working out with friends is always more fun.  

If you want to do some group training then we say “go for it!”. Whilst our programs are specifically designed for your progression and advancement, the most important thing to us is that you enjoy your exercise. Finding a way to make it a part of your healthy, active lifestyle is where you’ll see results. If that means occasionally skipping one of our expert-curated programs and doing some group training then we’re fine with that. 

For best results,  we encourage you to commit to the entire program and to stick to what our experts advise. Active8me is like many things in life – the more you put into the program, the more you will get out of it. We have designed it for your success – the rest is up to you.

At Active8me, we’re confident that with consistency and commitment to the program, you will see results. Our programs are designed by experts who have helped many others before you. This is not a diet, nor a program that obsesses about exercise. Diets don’t work and ridiculous training regimes, that are not sustainable over the long term are just not helpful. We are about helping you make good choices; establishing healthy habits; executing smart, expertly crafted exercise programs and nourishing meal plans; plus empowering you with positive thinking – so you can embrace and sustain healthy, active living. Exercise. Nourish. Think. Transform. 

 Most importantly, Active8me deals with your mindset. This is where real change happens. Change your thinking and your actions will naturally follow, hence achieving the results you want. If you have tried many things before and not seen the desired result then you need to question your own self-sabotaging behaviours. Have you focused on the psychology associated with behaviour change? Do you understand where real motivation comes from? Do you know how to establish great habits? Have you dealt with your fears and limiting mindsets that often hold you back despite your best intentions and efforts? 

If you answered ‘No’ to any of these questions, then it is important to recognise that the Active8me weekly mindset lesson is imperative to challenge and shift your thinking. It helps you see results and make lasting change.

 We will provide you with the expertise, programs, and guidance. The rest is up to you. 

The number of calories burnt in each workout (and indeed each exercise) varies dramatically, depending on multiple things such as individual height, weight, intensity, etc. For this reason, we are unable to calculate the number of calories burnt for each individual.

We provide an approximation to give you an idea, but please be aware that it is a generalised approximation only.

 For more accurate calorie counting you can use a calorie counting device, for example, the Polar FT4 watch, FitBit Flex band, Garmin Vivofit 2 tracker, that will show you how many calories you have personally burnt during your workout.

For our core programs (not our special one-off programs), we offer the choice of whether you want to join as a free, Pro or Platinum member.

In brief:
Free program – you have access to workouts only. (Please note you do not have access to 100% of the workouts – this is only available to paying members). 
Pro program – you have access to everything in the app(workouts + nutrition + mindset + in-app chat + more)
Platinum program – you have access to everything in the app + you receive your very own Nutrigenomics DNA kit/test

If you registered, and paid for, your Active8me subscription on the Active8me website, to cancel your subscription please email us at Please note: this may take up to 48 hours to be finalised.



If you subscribed via the Apple (iOS) App and you would like to cancel your subscription, you will need to cancel your membership renewal in the iTunes store.

 On your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch:

  1. On the Home screen, tap Settings.
  2. Tap App and iTunes Stores.
  3. Tap your Apple ID
  4. Tap View Apple ID. You might need to sign in.     

We are confident you’ll love the Active8me programs, but from time to time we understand that there are situations and circumstances that mean you’ll need to cancel. 

 If you are facing one of these situations then please email us at and provide details of your legitimate reason/extenuating circumstances. (Please also confirm your acceptance of our Cancellation Policy). If we agree that you have a legitimate reason or an extenuating circumstance for requesting a cancellation then we will be happy to cancel your membership. Well, in all honestly we won’t be happy – but only because we’d rather have you doing the program with us. We hope though you’ll be back to join us soon when circumstances allow!

 If you are on a recurring payment plan the cancellation of your membership will automatically stop all future payments and you will no longer be charged. There will be no refunds for any previous payments as you have had access to site content. 

 Any cancellation means that you will no longer have access to Active8me unless you sign-up again. Please note: we do not freeze memberships.

If you have subscribed through iOS Apple, you will need to renew your membership in the iTunes store, Apple explain how to do this in their support centre here:

Please be aware this can take up to 24 hours to reflect in your account.

If you are unable to log in, we recommend to delete and reinstall the App to your device and try again in a few hours time.

WebApp & Android
If you have subscribed via our WebApp or the Google Play Store, simply log in to your account and you will be invited to ‘Manage My Account’. You can now update your payment details and get started with SWK!

If you’re having any further troubles be sure to get in touch with our team via the ‘Contact Us’ tab at the bottom of this screen. Please mention “Renew Subscription” in the subject of your enquiry. 

Unfortunately it is not possible for us to refund. Sorry. All sales are final. What we hope though is that in time you will see the massive value that you got from the program and wonder why the fee isn’t a lot more. After all, you can’t put a price on your health.

There are two ways to join.

  1. You can join through this website by clicking on the join button and completing your registration and payment details. Once your registration is completed all you need to do is then download the Active8me app from the Apple iTunes or Google Play app stores and login with the login details that you just registered with. 
  2. Download the Active8me app from the Apple iTunes or Google Play app stores. You will need to subscribe to the program or all content except workouts will be locked. Payments from your app will be made by the card tied to your Apple iTunes or Google Play account.

The meal plans that we have do not contain ingredients like pork, lard, wine or gelatine. However, we are not halal certified so you will need to source individual ingredients as you require.

If someone else prepares your food then you can provide them with the individual recipe which comes with a list of ingredients and cooking instructions which are easy to follow.  

If you have no control over the food that someone else prepares for you, then we recommend two things:

  • Start a food diary so you can start to count or track what you eat and drink every day and get more familiar with your calorie intake. (You might to like to use something like MyFitnessPal to help you with this). This will allow you to have a better handle on staying within your daily calorie allowance. If you don’t measure it, it is hard to manage it! 
  • Read our ‘Beginners Guide to Clean Eating’ guide so you can educate yourself on healthy nutrition decisions and on clean eating food swaps. This knowledge can provide the foundation for making the best food decisions within your particular situation. 

No, our nutrition plans are definitely not a diet! At Active8me we believe in sensible, balanced and common sense wisdom around nutrition. The sort of wise advice you’d get from your great-grandmother. We believe in nourishing our bodies by eating highly nutritious and healthy food that’s delicious and satisfying. Our aim is to equip you with everything you need to avoid unhealthy obsessions with food and promote sustainable, healthy habits. We want you to create a positive relationship with food, to achieve optimum health that lasts a lifetime. You will not starve!  

Yes, Active8me’s healthy and delicious recipes are suitable for the entire family. In fact, we encourage you to do this – that is, to incorporate healthy nutritious meal plans for everyone in the family. 

This will not only make meal preparation easier, but help you adhere to the healthy meal plans which will greatly contribute to getting the results you want from the program.  The bonus is knowing that you’re having a positive impact on your entire family. What a great outcome!

We appreciate the fast pace of life today and understand that finding the time to cook meals can sometimes be difficult, with many people often opting to eat out. To accommodate that, we’ve designed the recipes in the meal plans to be:

  1. easy to make
  2. quick to prepare or cook
  3. budget friendly and
  4. nutritious and delicious

The preparation time for most Active8me meals is 20 minutes (or less), with the cooking time being less than 60 minutes. Remember, you can always swap in recipes that take less time to prepare and cook on days when you are pressed for time. As another tip, many of the meals are freezer friendly so you can cook in advance to save you time in the future.

At Active8me we take protecting your privacy and the security of your information very seriously. The information you provide us is private and other members do not have access to this information. 

We do not use members photos, stats or personal information without consent, or unless members themselves have chosen to make them publicly available. We often publish information and photos about the winners of the program, but only after they have agreed that we do so.

Firstly, don’t stress. Active8me exists to make your life easy and guide you through step by step. It’s all broken down by our experts into a simple, easy-to-follow program. What is my daily workout? What is my healthy meal? I need some motivation. How do I see the changes I want to see?

Take a deep breath, read through your welcome pack and follow your plan on the app. Just remember, many others have been on this journey before you and you’ll do this journey step by step and those steps will add up over time.

It is quite common to be a little stiff and sore after workouts – especially if you worked very hard, dramatically increased the duration or intensity of your exercise, changed your exercise routine or if you haven’t exercised for a little while. 

 It is very normal and in fact it is good. It is called DOMS (Delayed Onset of Muscle Soreness) and is generally at its worst within the first two days following a new, intense activity. It is caused by microscopic tearing of the muscle fibres (don’t worry this is normal and supposed to happen) and is part of the adaption process that leads to greater stamina and strength as the muscles recover and build. In fact, if you’re never feeling any muscle soreness you may not be working out hard enough! 

Movement helps! Go for a walk or a swim, have a massage or do some light stretching. Click here for some running race recovery tips from our blog that are valuable regardless of what activity caused your muscle soreness. 

 Please note that this sort of muscle pain / soreness / stiffness is not the same as the muscle pain or fatigue you experience during exercise. Nor is it like the sudden, sharp and intense pain of an injury such as a muscle strain or sprain that occurs during activity, often causing swelling or bruising. If you ever feel this sort of pain stop immediately and consult a doctor or specialist such as a physiotherapist. 

Yes, this is OK and it’s normal. When you exercise the heart works hard to pump blood to the muscles. It needs more oxygen to do this, so your lungs work hard too. That’s why you’re breathing hard. Your breathlessness is directly related to your level of fitness. The fitter you are, the less hard you’ll breath and the longer you’ll be able to workout at a higher intensity. Can you see now why exercise is so good for your body – heart, lungs, muscles to name a few? 

We understand that life is busy and it isn’t always easy to fit in exercise. The Active8me program is designed to allow you flexibility to work out anytime, anywhere. You choose the location and time that is most suitable for you – at home, outdoors or at the gym, and with timing that fits with your busy schedule and lifestyle. Active8me  is designed to work for you – anytime, anywhere!

 We also provide some recommendations in the program for structuring your day to make fitting in everything easier.

 We also know too well that your best intentions and all the talk in the world are meaningless if you don’t follow through. This is about prioritizing your workout and prioritizing your health so you make time for your daily workout. Workouts will generally be around 30 minutes per day (that’s only 2% of your day!). Like all of us who are busy here at Active8me, we hope exercise will become a priority and a foundational part of you living an active, healthy life. If you struggle with motivation we can definitely help you! You’re not alone – everyone struggles with motivation. We’re here to assist and encourage you step by step. You’ll get ‘daily doses of inspiration’ and weekly mindset videos to help you stay motivated and make change.  

 Don’t feel you have to do this journey yourself. The whole Active8me community, including our experts, are here to support you. There are many others just like yourself who struggle with motivation. Between all of us – we are confident this journey can be a wonderful and life-changing one for you. 

If you’re going away on holidays it shouldn’t make any difference as to whether you sign up and do any program. Active8me’s exercise plans include options to workout at home, outside or at the gym – to fit into your lifestyle wherever you are – including holidays! There is always a way to do your workout, whether that be outside, in your hotel room, at the hotel gym, walking whilst sightseeing or even in the pool.

 On the nutrition side, it may not be as easy, but if you watch your calorie intake, be aware of your portion sizes, be conscious of your alcohol intake and watch your snacking outside of meals, then you should be able to have both a great holiday and achieve your Active8me goals. Remember – you’re in control!

 At Active8me we want to inspire and encourage you to make active, healthy living part of your life – for life, not just for one initial program. That includes holidays – now and in the future. So we hope your upcoming holiday will make no difference to whether or not you join and follow the program.

Our programs are equally appropriate for females and males

No. You do not need to be currently fit to do these programs. In fact, if you’re not fit you will especially benefit from utilising Active8me.

 Active8me has beginner, intermediate and advanced level workouts to meet your current requirements and challenge you, despite the level of fitness you begin the program with.

 So, whether you have never trained before or whether you consider yourself rather fit, Active8me’s programs are designed for you to see progress and transformation. All you need is a mobile connection and the determination to be a better version of yourself.

Active8me’s programs can be done from anywhere in the world, and have been designed to be flexible and adaptable for various situations. In fact, we love to see people from all over the world joining the program and connecting, motivating and inspiring each other. Let’s do this fantastic journey together!

 Please note: The nutrition plans have a mix of Western and Asian recipes. If you find it difficult to source ingredients for any particular recipes, then feel free to swap meals on the plan or to customise the meal plan as you require. The most important thing is not what individual meals you eat, but making good healthy food decisions. Remember two important things:

  1. The other 23 hours outside of your workout count even more than the 1 hour you spend working out!
  2. It isn’t just what you eat, but how much you eat. Don’t forget portion control.

We encourage people of all ages to keep fit and healthy. After all, whether you are young or old, age shouldn’t be a limiting factor on becoming fit and healthy. However, we recommend our programs for 18 years+.

 Additionally, it is important to take into account some additional considerations depending on your age. For example, if you are a teenager, your bones will still be growing. As such, it is not advisable for you to carry heavy weights or do intense gym workouts. Your energy needs also varies depending on your height, weight, age, physical development and activity level. With this in mind, we recommend asking your parents’ or guardian’s permission to sign up and also their supervision when undertaking the program.

As for mature members, we recommend modifying your exercise plans to accommodate personal limitations or where you find it difficult to complete. For example, you could replace running with swimming, cycling or walking. We also recommend checking with your doctor or health care professional before participating in the program.

 The nutrition plans are less age dependent, so we recommend following them closely. However, please take note if you have any allergies or intolerances to ingredients in the recipes and, as always, please consult with your doctor or health practitioner before starting a new training program.
